spirograph - create using illustrator

i quite enjoy the outcomes that is created diffrently each time, depending on the shape, degree of the rotation and the number of shapes used together.

i thought i would try out this tutorial out for myself since ive never did this in illustrator before and only bu hand.

here are the 3 shapes i used and the outcomes, consequently of useing these togther give, quite a good result.

i think an experiment with colour could make it more interesting, i will do the next design with colour.

This time using only 2 shape with the eclipse and circle and changing the colours back and forth of red and black, between each rortation of 4 degrees.

This sort of design is something i could think about for a logo or maybe self branding, as it makes a interesting and unique design each time a spirograph is created just like the designer.
